In The Mies van der Rohes, filmmaker Sabine Gisiger introduces us to the many women who impacted the life of world-renowned architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Drawing on a private archive of footage, photos, and documents, the film retells the story of this iconic architect as remembered by his eldest daughter, Georgia.

The Mies van der Rohes is co-presented by the Consulate General of Switzerland in Chicago.

The Saturday (2/3) and Sunday (2/4) programs will be followed with a Q&A featuring filmmaker Sabine Gisiger and architect Dirk Lohan (Mies van der Rohe’s grandson).

Ticket buyers for the Saturday night (2/3) screening are invited to stay after the film for a private happy hour reception in the ADFF lounge.
